The coordinator of the BioTheRoS project, Mr. Kourkoumpas, proudly participated in the SAF Conference 2024, organized by the Centre for Renewable Energy Sources and Saving (CRES). The event brought together experts in the field of renewable energy and sustainable aviation fuels to discuss /suggest innovative solutions for a greener future.
At the conference, Mr. Kourkoumpas presented the project's vision and progress, emphasizing on both biomass logistics and the potential of fast pyrolysis & gasification technologies, alongside carbon capture and RES utilization, to scale up sustainable advanced biofuels, based on life cycle principles.
This participation highlighted BioTheRoS contribution to the European Green Deal goals, fostering collaborations and knowledge exchange with leading stakeholders in the field.
